About Real Academy Behavior Therapy

Compassionate, evidence-based ABA services for neurodiverse children and their families — in Florida and Texas.

Our Story

Real Academy Behavior Therapy was founded by Saira Mendoza, BCBA, IBA, QBA, with a simple conviction: every family deserves access to ethical, effective, and human ABA services — and every future professional deserves mentorship that is just as rigorous and accessible.

After years of working with neurodiverse children and their families, Saira saw that many parents felt lost between clinical jargon, insurance requirements, and conflicting advice. At the same time, she watched talented RBTs, BCaBA and BCBA candidates, and speech-language professionals struggle to find supervised fieldwork, clear guidance, and affordable preparation. She created Real Academy Behavior Therapy to change both realities: a practice where families are guided step by step, in their own language, and where future professionals receive the training, supervision, and mentorship they need to grow.

What We Stand For

The same principles guide our clinical services and our professional training.

These values are not a slogan. They are the standard we hold ourselves to — with every child, every family, and every professional we train.

Ethics First

We follow the BACB Ethics Code in every decision — from the clinical programs we design to the supervision we provide. Families and trainees are treated with dignity, transparency, and respect.

Evidence-Based Practice

Clinical programs are data-driven and individualized. Training is grounded in the same science: no shortcuts, no guesswork, just applied behavior analysis as it was meant to be practiced.

Family-Centered

Parents are partners, not spectators. We coach, explain, and walk alongside families — and we teach future professionals to do the same.

Bilingual and Human

Services and training in English and Spanish, with cultural humility and warmth. We believe access to quality ABA should not depend on the language you speak.

Every family deserves access to ethical, bilingual, and human ABA. Every professional deserves mentorship that meets that same standard.

That's why we do what we do.
